The reason why we decided to feature this company because she can preserve your bouquets, bridal party’s flowers, and more. We love the idea of keeping something from your wedding…well forever. She can preserve any of your flowers into coasters, ornaments, necklaces, earrings, coffee table centerpieces, and more. It’s the perfect way to keep something from your wedding and put it in your home as newlyweds. Also, you can make great gifts afterwards for your friends and family.

Here’s some general information about the process:

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, to ensure your date will be available for us to dry your flowers, 8-12 weeks is ideal, but the sooner the better! For orders with already dried flowers, we recommend booking as soon as possible, as there is normally about a 30 day “waiting line” before we can receive any more

flowers. We do not accept last minute orders at this time. If your date is booked, we would be happy to send you flowers drying instructions!

My date is booked!

No need to worry! We have created a step-by-step guide on how you or a friend can dry your one of a kind flowers and send them to us at a later date! We recommend reserving a date 6 weeks after you begin the drying process to give you some buffer time. The date you book is the date we will receive your flowers!

Can you work with already-dried flowers?

Yes! It is time to dust off your bouquet that has been hangin in the attic for years and create a special resin piece from it! Let us work our magic and turn your dusty bouquet into an art piece to display with your wedding photos! We must assess the flowers through photos emailed to us at contact@blossomandrhyme.com before you send them to make sure there is no mold or rotting on the flowers. Blossom and Rhyme is not responsible for any mold, rotting, dust or hairs that are within the flowers that we cannot see.

What is your turnaround time?

Our turnaround time for resin boxes depends on the time of year and influx of orders. On average, expect about an 8-14 weeks turnaround time, however, this is not an exact timeline. We want to make sure all the details of your forever resin piece are perfect before shipping to you! If you would like an update on your order, please feel free to email us at orders@blossomandrhyme.com! Thank you for your patience with us.

How will I get my bouquet/flowers to you?

-We have a local drop off available for the Chattanooga area!

-Not from around the area? No problem! We will send you a simple, step by step document explaining how to get it to me safely and quickly. We ship across the US! We want to make the process as stress-free as possible!

When should I get my bouquet to you?

To have the most prime resin piece with the liveliest flowers, we require that they arrive at our shop no later than 24-48 after the wedding. We dry the flowers using a unique technique that preserves the color perfectly. This process will only work if the flowers are not already wilting.

Do I need to dry my flowers beforehand?

My team and I have a unique way of drying flowers that preserves the careful detail of each flower, while also drying them thoroughly to preserve them perfectly. However, if you cannot get them to us 2 days after the wedding, we can send you step by step details on how to dry them yourself and get them ready for shipment for a later date.

Can I place my bouquet in the fridge/freezer until I get it to you to keep it fresh?

It is very important to NOT place your bouquet in the freezer or fridge! A residential-grade fridge is not good for your flowers and a freezer is simply too cold! After removing your flowers from a freezer, the flowers will droop, rot and mold very quickly. We do not accept bouquets that have been placed in the freezer, however no need to fear if you have done this already! Simply call your florist and ask them to make a mini version of your wedding bouquet, and we can preserve that!

Will all of my flowers be used?

Upon arrival, we will assess every one of your flowers carefully and will pick the most beautiful and healthy blooms/greenery. If you would like us to save the flowers/greenery we do not use, we can send you back the unused flowers for a $50 fee.

Will my piece look exactly like my bouquet?

The preservation process is a combination of unique design and a special science. Your bouquet will go through a beautiful transformation process that will remind you of the best day ever!

Where should I display my resin piece?

Both options are self-standing, and we recommend displaying it in a location where it will be seen and enjoyed the most but left out of direct sunlight! Combining your custom heirloom with wedding photos in a special place is a beautiful idea!

How do I take care of my resin piece?

Each piece is made with high-quality resin that is very durable, but it still needs to be handled with care. The suggestions are very simple. Please keep your piece out of direct sunlight for optimal protection. You may also wipe down your piece occasionally by using a lint less cloth.

Will my piece change over time?

The resin we use to preserve your flowers is clear, free of VOCs and very high-quality. It provides a three-dimensional experience of viewing your wedding flowers! Over time, the resin might develop a slight amber-like glow. We think this adds a beautiful, vintage element to it. Disclaimer: resin yellowing is an inevitable effect from the natural aging of your product. The best way to preserve your product is to leave it out of any kind of direct sunlight. We are not responsible for the natural effects of aging in your product.

How do I pay for my order?

Once you have placed your order, we will contact you to discuss the next steps. This email will include an invoice for your order (sales tax included for TN residents). Once your order is complete, we will send you a final invoice to cover shipping costs. As soon as we receive the final payment, your pieces will be on their way!

Do you offer international shipping options?

At this moment, we do not. International shipping options coming soon! :)

Where are we based out of?

Our art studio is based out of Chattanooga, TN, but can ship all over the US!

Do red flowers/roses darken when dried?

Yes! Red roses will grow a much deeper red which we think looks beautiful. Just know that it will get darker.
